More than a dozen women have teamed up to build the first of four homes in Monrovia as part of the San Gabriel Valley Habitat for Humanity. This is not just any house. This house will provide shelter for a qualifying needy family local to Monrovia. Most of these women have never done construction, but they have a sense of adventure and the desire to help those less fortunate, right here at home!

If you would like to be part of this San Gabriel Valley Habitat for Humanity home building project, we welcome you with open arms! You may donate time, money, building materials, expertise or a combination of any of the above. And, since there are four groups participating, you may choose to join up any team you like best. For more information on the various teams, click here.

Help Us raise funds this Sunday, April 27, and enjoy cocktails and dancing to local band The Delgado Brothers while helping a great cause: Habitat for Humanity. This event will benefit the Monrovia Women’s Build, which is raising money to build a Habitat home for a needy family in Monrovia. All you pay is $25 at the door.

So come join your fellow Monrovians on Sunday, April 27th, from 6–8 p.m. and enjoy some great live music. The Monrovia Historical Museum is located at 742 E. Lemon in Monrovia. For more information, or to purchase pre-sale tickets, contact Rena at 626-215-4211. Hope to see you there!

We now have T-Shirts! To purchase a T-shirt and help us reach our goals, visit our Cafepress store. If you are ready to take the next step and join the Women’s Build for the Sherman Development, email or call Donna Baker at 626-487-0820.
